This notice satisfies the requirements of NC General Statutes § 42-14, allowing the Landlord to terminate a lease agreement with appropriate notice. The Landlord has elected not to renew the tenancy described herein.

The Landlord has elected not to renew the lease agreement for the above-referenced property. In accordance with NC General Statutes § 42-14, you are hereby notified that your tenancy will terminate and you must quit possession of the premises.

5.Tenant Obligations Upon Termination

Upon the date of lease termination, the Tenant must:

  • Quit and surrender possession of the premises in its entirety.

  • Remove all personal property from the premises. Any personal property remaining after the termination date may be disposed of at the Landlord's discretion.
Important: Failure to vacate the premises by the termination date may result in Summary Ejectment proceedings under NC General Statutes, Chapter 42.
